Who should attend?

The Aesthetic Extender Symposium is an annual educational conference aimed to educate and train an audience of aesthetic physician extenders by providing innovative education on the newest therapies, technologies and procedures in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Physicians, Physicians Assistants, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to attend.


How many hours of CME/CE does the Symposium offer?

AES has been approved for 16 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits️ and 16 contact hours for nurses. There will also be additional Master Classes and Hands-on Training Workshops for a separate fee that will provide more CME/CE credit. Each Master Class or Workshop provides an additional 2-4 hours of CME credit.


What is included in the live meeting?

  • Access to the educational sessions
  • Access to the exhibit hall to meet in person with industry partners
  • Access to industry supported sessions or special events
  • The ability to attend additional workshops and Master Classes for a separate fee to receive hands-on learning to receive additional CME credit
  • Access to the virtual platform to view the educational content including the video and slide presentations on-demand after the meeting for 90 days.
  • Meals during the symposium including breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Friday and Saturday and breaks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • The ability to claim CME/CE credit for the sessions you attended

What is included in the virtual meeting?

  • Access to the live streaming of the AES sessions
  • Access to the live streaming of the industry sponsored sessions
  • The ability to attend additional virtual workshops and Master Classes for a separate fee to receive additional CME credit
  • Access to the Virtual Exhibit Hall to visit with industry partners. Attendees will be available to chat live with industry partners through chat and live video conferencing.
  • Access to the virtual platform to view the educational content including the video and slide presentations on-demand after the meeting for 90 days.
  • The ability to claim CME/CE credit for the sessions you attended

What COVID-19 Protocols Will AES Be Following?

The Aesthetic Extender Symposium is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for attendees of the live meeting. The live meeting has been limited to 250 registered attendees to ensure a safe and intimate meeting experience.

AES is currently adhering to the recommendations set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Florida and Orange County Departments of Health to keep attendees safe, therefore under the current guidelines, attendees that are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a face mask or covering during the AES meeting. Non-vaccinated attendees are encouraged to wear a face mask or covering while attending the AES meeting. Any attendee, vaccinated or not, is welcome to wear a face mask or covering if they wish to do so.

The following health and cleaning protocols will be in place during the meeting:

  • AES will provide a Wellness Kit with a face mask and a personal hand sanitizer to registered attendees upon check-in at the AES registration desk.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout the meeting space.
  • Physical distancing signage will be placed in group areas to encourage social distancing when appropriate.
  • The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all public spaces in the hotel will be increased. All high traffic areas and key touch points-elevator landings, door handles, stairway handrails, lobby seating areas, will be frequently cleaned.
  • The meeting room air filtration system is a high-efficiency Merv14 filter rating providing a maximum air exchange the air is turned 4 times per hour.
  • Individual meeting amenities will be set at each place setting to include a pen, pad wrapped candies.
  • All meeting room equipment (tables, chairs, door handles, light switches, linen) will be cleaned, between each meeting or event.

Please note: Any attendee that is sick should not travel to the meeting. 


What COVID-19 Protocols Will the Four Seasons Be Following?

The Four Seasons Orlando is incredibly proud to work alongside international experts to shape their health and safety decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic, as they focus on strengthening their already stringent health and safety measures through their new Lead with Care program. Do you offer hands-on training during the Symposium?

Hands-on training will be offered during workshops and Master Classes held in conjunction with AES for a separate fee. The number of attendees for the hands-on workshops are limited thereby offering an intimate learning experience for participants.


Who can participate in the hands-on training?

Attendees must be licensed in the state of Florida to participate in the hands-on portion of the workshops. If an attendee is not licensed in the state of Florida, they may observe the course without injecting. The course fee is the same for hands-on and observation only participants. Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants and Nurses must submit an authorization form, signed by his/her supervising physician, in order to participate in the hands-on portion of the course.


Can I bring a guest to AES?

Guests are not permitted to attend the educational sessions or special events because of capacity restrictions due to COVID-19. Guests are welcome to come and stay at the Four Seasons Resort with attendees.


What is the attire for the Symposium?

Attire is business casual. The meeting rooms tend to be cool, so attendees are encouraged to bring a jacket or sweater while in sessions.


I registered for the virtual meeting, how can I access the virtual platform?

Attendees will receive an email from AES approximately 2 days prior to the symposium with specific instructions on how to log in and access the virtual platform. If you do not receive your email with information to log in by July 6, 2021, please contact us at registration@aestheticextendersymposium.com.


Are there any system requirements for the virtual meeting?

For the best user experience during the virtual meeting, you will need the following:

  • A device that is connected to the internet, either by ethernet or WiFi (preferably a computer). The virtual platform is compatible with tablets and mobile devices, but the best user experience is with a computer device.
  • A stable internet connection. Check your internet speed in advance here: www.speedtest.net. Some slower speeds will result in slower loading times for the virtual platform.
  • Google Chrome as your platform-supported web browser. Safari and Firefox can have issues viewing webinars.
  • Zoom software downloaded to your device. Zoom is required for the live sessions. You can download the free software here: https://zoom.us/download

Can I watch the virtual meeting from my tablet or phone?

Yes, attendees can experience the full virtual meeting from a tablet or smart phone/device.


How to make a change to registration?

Attendees may change their virtual meeting registration to live meeting registration as long as there is availability. The request must be made in writing by June 8, 2021 by emailing info@aestheticextendersymposium.com. Attendees may not change their live meeting registration to virtual meeting registration.


What is the cancellation policy for the Symposium?

A cancellation fee of $150 will be charged for cancellations received 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium. There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium. If less than 30 days prior to the Symposium, accommodations for cancellations less the $150 cancellation fee will be made for the following exceptions: (1) death in the family (Must provide written notification) or (2) a natural disaster (Must provide a letter indicating the circumstances preventing your attendance). If an attendee must cancel due to a positive COVID-19 test result, a special one-time consideration may be made to transfer the attendee registration to 2022. The transfer may only be honored with proof of a positive test result and in accordance with current CDC guidelines regarding quarantine protocols. Honoring any request is at the discretion of AES. All cancellation notifications must be emailed to info@aestheticextendersymposium.com.

There are no cancellation refunds allowed for the Master Classes, Workshops, and Cadaver Lab.
