The Aesthetic Extender Symposium is an annual educational conference aimed to educate and train an audience of aesthetic physician extenders by providing innovative education on the newest therapies, technologies and procedures in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Physicians, Physicians Assistants, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to attend.
AES has been approved for 16 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits️™ and 16 contact hours for nurses. There will also be additional Master Classes and Hands-on Training Workshops for a separate fee that will provide more CME/CE credit. Each Master Class or Workshop provides an additional 2-4 hours of CME credit.
The Aesthetic Extender Symposium is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for attendees of the live meeting. Currently, we are limiting attendance for the live meeting to 200 registered attendees. We are working diligently to comply with the recommendations and guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Florida and Orange County Departments of Health to keep our attendees safe. The following protocols will be in place:
We will continue to monitor guidelines as they are updated to ensure our policies evolve with any changing guidelines. As the situation with the pandemic evolves, we will evaluate and adjust the in-person limitation with safety as its top priority. Updates on these restrictions will be provided as we get closer to the meeting dates. Attendees must adhere to all infectious disease protocols in place during the event, including those imposed by AES, the venue, the county health department, and any state directives, and if they fail to do so, they will be ejected from the symposium and the venue with no refund.
The Four Seasons Orlando is incredibly proud to work alongside international experts to shape their health and safety decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic, as they focus on strengthening their already stringent health and safety measures through their new Lead with Care program. To learn more about the Lead with Care program, please visit the website here: Lead with Care program. Upon arrival at the hotel, there will be a screening procedure for each guest that will include thermal temperature checking and questions regarding health and recent travel. Employees of the resort are required to wear masks and all guests (age 10 and above) are required to wear a mask or face covering when in public indoor spaces and when receiving in-room service.
Hands-on training will be offered during workshops and Master Classes held in conjunction with AES for a separate fee. The number of attendees for the hands-on workshops are limited thereby offering an intimate learning experience for participants.
Attendees must be licensed in the state of Florida to participate in the hands-on portion of the workshops. If an attendee is not licensed in the state of Florida, they may observe the course without injecting. The course fee is the same for hands-on and observation only participants. Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants and Nurses must submit an authorization form, signed by his/her supervising physician, in order to participate in the hands-on portion of the course.
Guests are not permitted to attend the educational sessions or special events because of capacity restrictions due to COVID-19. Guests are welcome to come and stay at the Four Seasons Resort with attendees.
Attire is business casual. The meeting rooms tend to be cool, so attendees are encouraged to bring a jacket or sweater while in sessions.
