Who should attend?

The Aesthetic Extender Symposium is an annual educational conference aimed to educate and train an audience of aesthetic physician extenders by providing innovative education on the newest therapies, technologies and procedures in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, aestheticians and physicians are encouraged to attend.


How many hours of CME/CE does the Symposium offer?

The exact number of continuing education credits will be determined once the agenda is finalized. Generally, the symposium offers between 15-20 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM and 15-20 contact hours for nurses. There will also be additional workshops for a separate fee that will provide more CME/CE credit.


What is included in the registration fee?

  • Access to the educational sessions
  • Access to the exhibit hall to meet in person with industry partners
  • Access to industry supported sessions or special events
  • The ability to attend additional workshops for a separate fee to receive additional CME credit
  • Meals during the symposium including breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Friday and Saturday and breaks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • The ability to claim CME/CE credit for the sessions you attended

Do you offer hands-on training during the Symposium?

Hands-on training will be offered during workshops held in conjunction with AES for a separate fee. The number of attendees for the hands-on workshops are limited thereby offering an intimate learning experience for participants.


Who can participate in the hands-on training?

Attendees must be licensed in the state of Florida or in a compact state to participate in the hands-on portion of the workshops. If an attendee is not licensed in the state of Florida or a compact state, they may observe the course without injecting. Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants and Nurses must submit an authorization form, signed by his/her supervising physician, in order to participate in the hands-on portion of the course.


What is the attire for the Symposium?

Attire is business casual. The meeting rooms tend to be cool, so attendees are encouraged to bring a jacket or sweater while in sessions.


What is the cancellation policy for the Symposium?

A cancellation fee of $200 will be charged for cancellations received from the time of registration up to 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium. There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium. If less than 30 days prior to the Symposium, accommodations for cancellations less the $200 cancellation fee will be made for the following exceptions: (1) death in the family (Must provide written notification) or (2) a natural disaster (Must provide a letter indicating the circumstances preventing your attendance). If an attendee must cancel due to a positive COVID-19 test result, a special one-time consideration may be made to transfer the attendee registration to 2024. The transfer may only be honored with proof of a positive test result and in accordance with current CDC guidelines regarding quarantine protocols. Honoring any request is at the discretion of AES. All cancellation notifications must be emailed to info@aestheticextendersymposium.com.
