Join us for an interactive hands-on workshop focused on PDO threads for the mid-face, lower-face, and neck. This comprehensive workshop will cover the use of both barbed PDO threads and mono threads, highlighting the differences between the two. Key topics will include patient consultation where attendees will learn how to identify the right candidates for PDO thread treatments. Attendees will discover which areas are best to start with and how to effectively treat multiple areas using PDO threads. Lastly, attendees will explore the various types of vectors that can be utilized in PDO thread procedures. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience, enabling them to confidently apply PDO thread techniques in their practice. Expert injector, Jessica Manges, ARNP will demonstrate her own PDO thread techniques during a live demonstration session giving attendees first-hand insight into his treatment strategies.
Attendees will earn up to 4 hours of CME/CE credit for attending and can choose to participate as a hands-on learner or an observer during the workshop. A minimum of 2 years of experience in aesthetic medicine using PDO threads required to participate in the workshop.
This workshop will be limited to 15 participants to provide an intimate learning environment with the trainer. Up to 6 participants will be able to inject and perform hands-on training and up to 9 participants will be able to observe during the workshop.
Please note: The attendee must be licensed in the state of Florida or a compact state to perform hands on during this workshop. Each attendee that will be performing hands-on treatment must provide their own patient for the hands-on training.
AMI’s Mobile Anatomy Experience will provide a thorough review of facial tissues and muscles coupled with live dissections during a cadaver facial anatomy session. Attendees will be guided by faculty to identify the key facial landmarks used for locating the areas most appropriate for injecting neurotoxins and dermal fillers in the face.
Due to the support of Allergan Aesthetics, these facial anatomy labs will be offered complimentary to AES attendees. You must be signed up for AES to attend this course. Each lab is limited to 50 people. We kindly ask that if you are an attendee that participated in this cadaver lab at AES in 2023 that you refrain from registering to allow for new attendees to benefit from this educational offering.

This workshop will be heavily focused on facial anatomy and ways to identify facial structures utilizing ultrasound technology. This course is geared toward intermediate to advanced injectors with at least two years of full-time experience. This is not a beginners ultrasound course and we recommend that attendees have previously completed a fundamentals course and have some experience with ultrasound.
