Krystie P. Lennox has a passion for education, evident in both her accomplishments and initiatives in the field of aesthetic medicine. She is a practicing physician assistant, trainer and consultant with more than a decade of expertise spanning aesthetics, skin care, laser and related products and services.
Ms. Lennox is the founder and co-director of the Aesthetic Extender Symposium, a conference designed to educate aesthetic physician extenders in cosmetic dermatology procedures, as well as the latest laser technologies. Ms. Lennox is also an aesthetic practice consultant through Lennox & Associates, LLC, as well as a trainer for Allergan. She is a frequent lecturer, having spoken at conferences by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), Galderma, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the International Master Course on Aging Skin (IMCAS), The South Beach Symposium and the Cosmetic Dermatology Seminar.
Ms. Lennox has authored numerous articles, published in leading medical journals, including Drugs in Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology, Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Journal of Dermatology for Physician Assistants, Plastic Surgery Pulse and Skin & Aging. In conjunction with plastic surgeon, Dr. Jason N. Pozner, and dermatologist, Dr. David J. Goldberg, she wrote a chapter on “Intense Pulsed Light” for Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services. She also served as a Cosmetic Dermatology Department writer for Advance for Physician Assistants news magazine for years. Throughout her career, she has also contributed to clinical research by assisting respected physicians to study the safety and efficacy of a wide array of treatments.
Among her many honors, she was recognized with the ASLMS Nursing/Allied Health Excellence Award by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery in 2010 for outstanding contributions and the advancement of joint practice in laser medicine and surgery.
Ms. Lennox owns and practices at Lennox Aesthetics in Boca Raton, Florida. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Medical Sciences from Barry University.
David J. Goldberg, MD, JD is the Director of Cosmetic Dermatology and Clinical Research at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
Dr. Goldberg is recognized nationally and internationally for his innovative work with skin lasers, cosmetic dermatology and non-invasive facial and body rejuvenation techniques.
A board-certified dermatologist who has been in practice since 1985, he has treated patients and taught doctors throughout the world in the use of these cutting-edge technologies. Dr. Goldberg is the Director of Cosmetic Dermatology and the Cosmetic Mentorship Program at Schweiger Dermatology Group. Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from Yale University. He completed his dermatology residency and dermatologic surgical fellowship at New York University Medical Center. He is a clinical professor and former director of Mohs Surgery and Laser Research in the department of Dermatology at New York’s Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Goldberg has published over 160 academic papers and has contributed to over 15 academic textbooks. He has authored textbooks on laser dermatology, laser hair removal, laser facial rejuvenation, photodamaged skin, skin wrinkle fillers, acne, rosacea, unwanted fat and cellulite. He has also co-authored two books for the general public: Light Years Younger and Secrets of Great Skin.
Dr. Goldberg is active in professional societies and was elected president of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine & Surgery. He has also served as chairperson of the Ethics Committees of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has sat on the board of directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has also served as a co-vice-president of the Skin Cancer Foundation.
